Gorillaz es una banda británica creada en 1998, de hecho la banda virtual más conocida del mundo según el libro Guinness de los récords.
El 16 de Diciembre se celebró el estreno mundial del documental Reject False Icons, dirigido por Denholm Hewlett. Esta película nos presenta la parte de carne y hueso de la banda, aunque los miembros virtuales (2D, Murdoc, Noodle y Russel) también hacen acto de presencia.
El documental se centra en la creación de sus dos álbumes más recientes, Humanz y The Now Now, mostrándonos el trabajo y la parte musical de la mano de Damon Albarn y su equipo (Jamie Principle, Peven Everett, Jehnny Beth, Little Simz...) , además de una breve aparición del artista y co-creador del grupo Jamie Hewlett. Contiene además grabaciones de sus giras y conciertos en México, Europa, Londres...

Todavía no se sabe si se lanzará un DVD, pero sin duda los fans de Gorillaz lo esperan con ganas.

Gorillaz is a british band created in 1998, in fact the most successful virtual band ever as said in the Guinness world record book.
In December 16th the global release of the documentary Reject False Icons was celebrated; directed by Denholm Hewlett, the movie presents the most human part of the band, although the virtual members (2D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel) also make an appeareance.
The documentary focuses on the creation of their last two albums, Humanz and The Now Now, showing us the musical work of Damon Albarn and his team (Jamie Principle, Peven Everett, Jehnny Beth, Little Simz...), along with the appeareance of the artist and co-creator of the band Jamie Hewlett. It also contains rare videos from their tours and concerts, from Mexico, to Europe or London.
We don't know yet if they will release a DVD, but surely the fans of the band are waiting for it.
