Todo pinta a lo q muchos fans queriamos, disco recopilatorio con tema nuevo, ahora podria venir una promo decente con actuaciones hasta en la sopa o una gira mundial de grandes exitos. Despues aprovechar el tiron d la lavada d imagen y del tema inedito para sacar album nuevo....todo esto ya son mis deseos jejeje.

No me gusta nada que el recopilatorio lo hayan titulado así cuando solo tiene 10 #1 en el Hot 100 y ninguno en UK, es demasiado engañoso, aunque todos sean #1 en las sublistas del billboard. Si el anterior lo había llamado Desig Of a Decade, éste podría haberlo llamado algo relacionado o simplemente Grandes Éxitos, no va a tener otro GH mejor que éste porque no va a volver a sacar temas exitosos.
No hubiera metido tanto feat de discografías ajenas porque lo hace más impersonal y tiene más "#1" para meter como 'So Excited' y es que es totalmente penoso que solo haya metidos 1 canción por disco de los tres últimos, son malos, pocos exitosos pero se podría haber metido más como una balada bonita como 'I Want You' o 'Enjoy'.

A pesar de que el tracklist me gusta bastante creo que del primer cd cambiaría algunas y en el segundo hubiese añadido 'So excited', y alguna más de los ultimos cd's.
Por cierto, me parece buena elección la de 'What's it gonna be' y 'Scream'.-

Me explicaré mejor antes de que nadie más me malinterprete por susceptibilidades o se convierte en un debate, que no lo creo con lo aburrido que esta este tema.
Por supuesto que puede hacer todavía algo exitoso (Q no bueno), solo necesita asociarse con alguien decente o que uno de sus productores esté en estado de gracia, encuentre un vacío en el airplay de USA o que vuelvan a aceptar a Janet como lo que es, puede pasar muchas cosas para que me calle la boca pero cuando digo que no volverá a tener temas exitosos lo digo relacionado con la primera parte de la frase "no va a tener otro GH mejor que éste porque no va a volver a sacar temas exitosos." Y estoy hablando en plural "temas exitosos". Y lo que quiero decir es que no creo que vaya a tener otra época dorada con la que saque unos cuantos temas imprescindibles para hacer otro GH mejor, es decir, dentro de x años no creo que otro GH mejore sustancialmente al GH que puede hacer ahora, en términos de éxitos generalmente aceptados por el público que es el contexto con el que he hablado en mi anterior post.
Lleva 3 discos en 8 años y no ha conseguido tener un solo éxito*, si alguien quiere tener fe ciega en ella todavía en que va a volver a sacar exitazos a sus 43 años, adelante, pero que también respete quien dude de ello. Y ya no digo temazos.
*Algo un poco incomprensible cuando otras lanzan peores temas y está en el #1 del Hot 100 durante semanas y cuando algunos de los singles sacados por Janet son más que decentes para dicha lista.
Perfectamente lo puede conseguir tras el revuelo mediático de MJ, un cambio de dirección, una discográfica que apuesta verdaderamente por ella (que lo necesita), etc, pero a día de hoy no confío en ello hasta que demuestre lo contrario (porque tiene que hacerlo después de tantas decepciones) y más cuando tiene la oportunidad de lanzar un nuevo hit y dar un giro a su carrera gracias al nuevo GH y saca 'Make Me' una canción que la mitad de los fans creían que era una simple inédita y que es del mismo rollo que tantos éxitos le han traído últimamente y sabe a oportunidad desaprovechada (Y digo esto aunque luego se convierta en un smash hit de Janetlol, porque objetivamente no merecería serlo ni eso ni nada semejante)

Pues si ese es el tracklist oficial me ha gustado, le hubiera agregado So excited y Luv, pero igual me gusta mucho que este What's it gonna be
También le hubiera agregado "Say you do" y mas siendo un recopilatorio lanzado con A&M records , aunque obvio esta no fue numero 1 haha pero es de mis preferidas.
Y estoy deacuerdo con que este es un recopilatorio definitivo como el Celebration de Madonna , tendrían que estar otros 20 años para lanzar algo similar... cosa que es poco factible.

Estoy de acuerdo con orbitt en que no veo el sentido de llamar number ones a este recopilatorio, porque janet, a pesar de todo el exito que ha tenido, no tiene muchos números uno mundiales.
A mi el tracklisting también me gusta. Para mi solo tres canciones tienen interés porque el resto ya las tengo, pero a pesar de esto creo que lo compraré. Aunque solo sea como recordatorio de sus buenos años. Me alegro que haya metido poco de sus últimos discos porque francamente, me parece que deslucirían mucho la restorspectiva. No metería so excited, ni LUV, e incluso call on me la hubiese quitado. Aunque como dice orbitt, i want you o enjoy no hubiesen quedado mal.
Sobre lo de que vuelva a tener éxitos, pues igual si que consigue alguno puntual, pero ya no creo que se pueda llegar a los picos de sus etapas grandes o llegar a un nivel estable con un relativo éxito y quedarse ahí. Y desde luego no con el camino que ha tomado en sus ultimos trabajos.
Además, la radio en usa pone muy poco a los artistas que van cumpliendo una determinada edad y para llegar alto en las listas es muy útil el airplay, así que el tiempo corre en su contra. En el reino unido sin embargo, la semana que viene (según los cifras de ventas de cada dia que se están publicando) de los cinco discos más vendidos esta semana, cuatro serán de artistas mayores de 50 años. Y janet ha centrado su carrera en USA, que es un mercado que tiene más en cuenta la edad, dejando a europa bastante de lado (en gira no viene desde el velvet rope tour) a pesar de apariciones promocionales puntuales.

Además, por lo que veo, ellos mismos reconocen que incluyen temas que no han sido número uno en ningún formato, como Because Of Love o Runaway...
pues las versiones.....y el tracklist estan muuuy buenso..me encuentro muy satisfecho....aunque me hubise gustado so exited dentro...solo eso....
